They’ve announced their engagement and set a wedding date for sometime in 2011, and now Prince William and Kate Middleton will be busy planning their big day.
And according to “William and Harry: Behind the Palace Walls” author Katie Nicholl, the wedding date will fall in a very significant year for the Royal family.
Ms. Nicholl told press, "2011 would be Diana's 50th birthday and also the 30th anniversary of her wedding to his father."
"This will be William’s way to make sure his mother’s memory won’t be forgotten on the most important day of his life," she added.

One thing’s for sure- Will and Kate won’t get hitched in St. Paul’s Cathedral like Charles and Diana. “That’s been ruled out by William himself,” says an insider. Instead they’re looking at Westminster Abbey and St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
